“We are very thankful to the World Bank for its continued support in advancing Qatar’s Vision, namely by committing to support the country’s economic transformation by allocating $4 billion. We know that the World Bank’s support is essential in our transition and will be instrumental in achieving our vision.”
“We know that we have a long road ahead, but we are determined to make sure that Qatar’s transformation effort succeeds,” Dr. Al-Marri said.
The minister cited numerous reforms including in reforming the economy, improving public access to healthcare and education, introducing the national social development plan (NPRS) and consolidating reforms already put in place.
